The primary participants of our workshops are monks or nuns from various Tibetan religious learning centers in and around India, mainly from the following monastery universities:
Sera University,
Gaden University,
Drepung University,
Menri Monastery,
Sakya College,
Gyuto Tantric College,
Gyumed Tantric College,
Jamyang Choeling nunnery (learn more about the monestaries)
The monks/nuns are selected by the monasteries on merit basis and participants will represent their own monasteries in the workshops.

The participants are restricted to only those monks and nun who have philosophical education equivalent to Geshe degree for Gelukpa School and other traditions. They will be trained to be the prospect teachers in the monastic science education which will be introduced under the Emory-Tibet science initiative. Many of them are instructor or teachers themselves in their own monasteries, so knowledge they attained from involving in these workshop will be assist in their day to day practice as well as are transferred to future successors of the monastery.

The participants for this program will be selected by the monastic administration. But their primary requirement is that they should be in the first year of the Geluk examination or equivalent with other traditional school. The monks enrolling in this program are necessary to finish the curriculum course pack designed for a period of five years. Details of the selection requirement will be announced soon.
